Pezdirc

Terezija Pezdirc (my maternal grandmother) is also the only one of my grandparents who was still alive when I was born. She was born in Krasinec v Beli Krajini, first moved to Ljubljana as a maid, and later to Stražišče pri Kranju.

However, I didn't know the ancestors on her side that well, but I did know many relatives, as she had 4 sisters and a brother.

Descendants of the Pezdirc family

At the beginning of my genealogical research, my mother gave me an interesting booklet: Descendants of the Pezdirc family - Krasinec 2. I didn't even know it existed before.

The book was written by Janez Totter from Črnomelj and donated in 2015 to all the families he documented. The book allowed me to quickly find most of my relatives in the Matricula books.
